About Jeremiah
Jeremiah is an active educator and musician in Wisconsin. He holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Bachelor of Music degree from St. Norbert College, with an instrumental music teaching certification, and an Associate of Arts & Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc. He is also a graduate of the United States Army School of Music.
Jeremiah currently teaches vocal and general music in the Gresham School District, and also teaches adjunct instrumental music and music technology at Silver Lake College. He has previously had teaching experiences at Reedsville High School, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and in the Valders School District.
Additionally, he has taught at the St. Norbert College Summer Band Camp, coached the low brass section of the Green Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra, and maintained a private teaching studio.
An active musician on trombone and euphonium, he currently performs with the 132nd Army Band, Newtonburg Brass Band, St. Norbert Community Band, and the Two Rivers Municipal Band. He has also performed with groups such as the Belle City Brassworks, Lakeshore Big Band, Lakeshore Wind Ensemble, Peninsula Players Theatre, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Community Orchestra, and many other groups throughout Wisconsin. He has also been featured as a soloist several times throughout his career.
Jeremiah holds professional memberships in the American Federation of Musicians, International Trombone Association, National Band Association, and the National Education Association.
